Always starting over

I have three major projects I am currently working on: Witch Cakes, The Devils You Know & The Devils You Don't (let's just call it Devils from here on out to save time) and an adaptation of a children's book that I worked on as part of my masters degree, but am now waiting on permission to continue working outside of an academic setting. The first two have had productions at fringe festivals around New England and the adaptation had some limited readings in school. All three projects have some major issues which will require some extensive rewrites.

So, I'm starting over...not completely from scratch, but on a whole new editing adventure. Even if I never get the rights to the adaptation, I think I'm going to start with that one because I am the most passionate about it and invested in it right now. Worse comes to worse, I will never see it on stage (although fingers crossed that someone will hang on to it and produce it after the book enters the public domain), but at the end of the day I know that I will become a better writer by working on it. And I think it's going to help me solve some of my other writing issues on my original works...

So here we are...off to print out my first copy of this script! Now I need to find all of my fancy colored pens so I can take some good notes :)
